so far this week things have not been the best at all. I know I have over eaten for several days in a row. I have this faulty switch that will not shut off to advise me that " hey you your full now" I have several ideas as to why this is occurring. the biggest one would be good old stress..
firstly yesterday I had my first physio appointment. which I was extremely nervous about. but it went okay, I have some home exercises to do and then return next week. fingers crossed that this helps alleviate some of the nasty shoulder pain that I have been having. then also this week I have had the nightmare of dealing with my doctor and with the local pharmacy. I have had to go on a different medication, this one causes weight gain!! are you freaking kidding me? now I am back to the choice of feeling mentally OK, or losing weight. in the past the weight has always won. sounds kinda shallow when you actually write that bit out. maybe though I should take the more adult approach and I say that very lightly that i will work with it. find a way to both take the stupid meds and hopefully continue to lose some weight. if anything is good to say about this situation is that perhaps I can use it for motivation to be a little more strict with myself.
let the games begin so to speak...

okay so I made a few mistakes on the weekend. I ate too much, didn't drink enough fluids went overboard on salt :( , and recorded zip, zero, ziltch on here. so yeah oops..
however it's a new week and I did do some good stuff this weekend. like walking, walking and more walking. enjoyed the spring like weather, and got a few extra things done around home.
so sort of a balance of the good and the bad.
besides there is the off chance that the extra weight is water retention. ;)

holy crappola !!!! I have no clue how I have lost this lb because in all honesty after the week I have had and how badly in my opinion I have ate I thought for sure it would be up. yes this week has been very trying both physically and emotionally. I have even been drinking regular gingerale because it soothes my stomach and gives me an extra boost at work so that I can prevent the dizzies. the problem here is that I don't like recording alot of my beverages because I know they will put me over my calorie limit which in turn makes me feel bad. so I just don't know. :/
However with all this said.. I am grateful that it's Friday and I made it through this week. the weekend is suppose to be very pleasant and there will be no excuses not to get out and do some serious walking. I'm also grateful for the people of this site who share both their successes and challenges.

yesterday was not all that great. at the doctors I found out I have to now go for physio on my shoulders even though nothing showed up on the ultra sound nor x-rays. I'll be going for a month and then they will re-evaluate how I am doing. so until then I live with the pain I suppose. however on the good side of the appointment all my blood work came back "excellent", the doctor was amazed that my good cholesterol was so high and my bad so low. I simply told her that it was probably the fact that I do not eat meat, or eggs, and use lactose free dairy products sparingly. she was still very impressed. :)
so I guess it shows that no matter what the circumstances are there is always a little good even if it is overshadowed by some not so good news/ events etc.

oh Monday why did you come so quickly? probably because I was busy all weekend
today will be no different with having a doctors appointment first thing and then work. yeah!
however on the bright side of all this... it's a new week, the weather is suppose to be gorgeous and very spring like :). my weight did not change, and I learned the fried foods have a very nasty side effect. plus the biggest bonus is that I was able to purchase my "Feb" reward, and now have a March one already picked out. :)
so I hope everyone had a good weekend, and I hope the week ahead brings you many successes.
