I know throwing in the towel is not an option. but from the looks of my food diary it appears I have done just that.
the only good thing I did yesterday was go for a 10.4 km walk that was both uphill and downhill. everything was great, the sun, the slight breeze, the temperature. the only thing that was wrong was me and how I felt.
oh well it's a new week and hopefully I can get a handle on this before it gets completely out of control.
I hope everyone had a great Easter weekend.

I'm embarrassed at how much I've been eating. it does not seem like a lot at the time, but when I start to record it I kinda feel like I am letting myself down.. :(
I know in reality that happiness should not be based on a number on the scale, but there's a huge conflict in my brain in regards to that :(
just feeling blah about the whole thing.. :'(

happy Easter weekend. I knew I had eaten alot yesterday but holy cow not that much. but it's okay because I know dang well with all the running around I did at work yesterday I definitely burned alot of calories. well that is my story and that is what I am sticking too. plus I was out all morning with hubby doing errands, do maybe that helped. :)
I am however still trying to decrease my sodium intake and it's way harder then I thought it would be. BUT I'll do it.. just one shake at a time.
I hope everyone has an amazing Easter weekend. remember everything in moderation, and if you are severely craving something it is better to have a small portion now rather than a full out binge later.

Losing 0.6 kg a Week
21 March 2016
Up again.. but this time I recorded what I ate or thought I had eaten. Having a hard time staying motivated, even with my rewards in the back of my mind. also been having some side effects from the meds that are not so pleasant. But they should pass soon as my body becomes more used to them.
so for this week I am going to try to stay away from excess salt, I am going to try and up the amount of water that I drink. finally try very hard to avoid excessive snacking at night.
alot of new things to try and do. I'm basically going not quite back to square one but somewhere in between 1 and 2.
to everyone who has found success I applaud you. to everyone who is facing struggles know that you are not alone and you can do this.
Breath, and remember one must learn to crawl before they walk and walk before they can run

Gaining 0.4 kg a Week
18 March 2016
so here I am with a light slap to the forehead. it dawned on me yesterday that these lovely new meds have a sodium base. well I absolutely love my salt but my body is like oh yeah I will blow your butt up with that crap. so between eating too much, well not too much but just high calorie stuff and the salt... the end result is an increase on the scale. however on the bright side at least I recognized this now and not in 5lbs from now when I'm freaking out and wanting to throw the dang things out the window.
now it's time to work on a new game plan. after all the end of March is near and if I want my reward I had better tighten the belt, do up them shoes and get moving. :)
have a great healthy, happy and safe weekend everyone. may will all find a reason to smile, and take the time to remind ourselves that we are all amazing and capable of amazing things! xx
