So I found this pretty nicely written article:

It says basically that striving to be cover-model thin is usually not the best for our body, and that instead we should focus on striving to be healthy. Adopt a healthy lifestyle, eat right, exercise as much as we feel we should, as our body tells us all it needs. There must be balance between state of mind and control of body, and rather than adopting a certain fad diet or throwing our body in mass fat-burning classes, we should do the things we please. There is more dedication when we adopt the lifestyle we choose than the one that is imposed by following somebody else's success story. It deeply resembles my point of view :)

I am so busy and so held up at work, but I still managed to go jogging, and do aerobics for two evenings in the past week. Hooray for that. I still don't have a scale, but will search to buy one soon enough. I am thinking to take my measurements, as I have taken them some weeks ago, and to compare and see if I really made a progress. Hope it's not all just in my head :)

So, last journal entry was on March 30th. Many things happened since then. Had a lot of personal things that went ka-boom, and needed fixing. Now that I am distraction-free I hope to be able to focus on weight loss as well.
I don't have a scale right now, but I can feel a bit lighter. Summer came, bringing hot weather, more fruits and veggies, more water, and an appetite drop because it's so hot around here! I will try to keep it going and include sport in my routine more often.
My next "deadline" is for a vacation at the seaside, in late July; hope to leave behind some creases in my tights and tummy by then. Let's see :)

Spring is beginning here, and the sunshine gives me a new kind of energy and motivation. I get up earlier, try to prepare better for the day, and I feel more active. I drink more water during the day, and avoid greasy foods as they don't go well with the warmer weather. My friend's wedding has passed already, I wore a dress that looked alright on me and that's pretty much it, I didn't slim down for this event.
I feel like motivation is a struggle. I haven't entered my food and activity for a long time. I am trying to keep it low with empty calory intake and be as active as possible. I'll try to enter everything from now on, need to get back on track.
