I mentioned the boyfriends in a forum discussion and people seemed to be curious, so here's more about Hoser's Harem. (BTW, I use the term harem mostly as a way of giggling about the little ironies of my life. It's very much tongue-in-cheek.)
Yes, I have two boyfriends. Well, two or three depending upon how you slice it. One is more of a dear friend and lover than a romantic entanglement, but I guess that's splitting hairs. OK, I have three boyfriends. There are no girlfriends in the mix, but that's an accident of fate more than a deliberate choice. I've certainly had girlfriends in the past, including one M-F-F triad relationship.
Yes, they all know about each other. Two of the three know each other, but the third one lives on the east coast and hasn't had the opportunity to meet the other two. I'd be happier if they all knew each other (and even happier if they were all friends) but it is what it is.
All of the relationships are stable, long-term ones-- a year, almost three years (but we've been friends for over a decade), and almost six years. They all make me happy, though each of them in very different ways. They are all uniquely fascinating people, though they're very different from each other.
How do I make it all work? Honest, straightforward communication. Lots of it.
I've been polyamorous for almost 20 years. It works for me, though it's obviously not for everyone. Sometimes it's challenging, but it's almost always tremendously rewarding.
And yes, I'm happy to answer reasonable questions if people are curious.

Well that's good.
After a few months of traveling plus health issues that seem to have severely fucked up my biochemistry, I'm back on track and losing again. Perhaps running helps as well.

Dinner: unable to calculate.
Hog & Rocks-- an oyster and ham bar. Cocktails were yummy. Ham and oysters were yummy. Pimiento cheese was weird. Everything else was tasty.

I ran tonight.
I finished a Couch to 5K last spring, tweaked my knee 30 seconds after finishing, and then quit for a long time. Tonight was the night to start back up.
My plan was to start with W3D1 of the C25K, but as I got into it I discovered some of my old stamina. The three-minute run scared me, but I actually managed to do ten without too much effort. Well, I *am* 25 pounds lighter than the last time I did this. I guess it makes a difference.

I got up at 11 this morning, grabbed breakfast, and started working on a project. At 6 p.m. I realized that I'd only eaten ~200 calories for the day. Whoops!
Well, not really. This became an opportunity to eat some calorie-rich foods that I really like, but that have been off the menu while I try to un-pad my hips. I grabbed a sausage as a snack, then contemplated dinner options.
Pasta with (home made) sun-dried tomato cream pesto sauce. I'm glad I don't eat stuff like that every day anymore, but it was dee-licious.
I'm now at around a thousand calories for the day. Maybe I'll have a banana with chocolate sauce before I go to bed.
