Bouncing around in the 163-164 range. My goal is to keep it here through the holidays. Since my original goal weight was 175 I am okay, though I do consider 164 about perfect. I got to around 162 and my wife told me it was getting to be a bit much...then she knocked me down and said she would "kick my skinny arse" if I got any thinner!(complinment I think???)
PS: ANYONE LOSE THEIR FOOD ENTRIES? mine are all gone.

Holiday Challenges.
So I have come to realize, it isn't just the tasty foods lying around EVERYWHERE this time of year, the office, the parties etc. I've gotten pretty decent at making good food choices over this past year. No, It is also a
time challenge
to get my exercise in regularly and a ramped up stress thing that may lead us towards "comfort eating"
So my cardio was way down last week. Still gOt 20 miles, but that is pretty low comparatively.HERE IS WHAT I HAVE LEARNED: For me,
exercise reduces stress far more than chowing down.
comfort eating will just lead to increased anxiety any way! So I am making it a point to bust out a set of pushups instead of a donut grab. Walk a block instead of thirds on pizza. Make no mistake.
I WILL ENJOY HOLIDAY TREATS.
In moderation and in design to balance (allowance) for my RDI. Weight holding steady in the 163 to 164 range, and I am diggin' that!

Ate (snacked) horribly yesterday, but there is a reason. VERY stressful past week from a professional/ career standpoint. Probably noshing for comfort, but something simply had to give. Since I don't drink, smoke or ingest any mood or mind altering substances, I suppose I sought sweet, crunchy relief. No room in my head or heart to obsess and worry about calorie counts yesterday. Call it a setback and move on. Did get some cardio in, and my worst day in recent history was probably about an average day in my "lardo' era!
Hey people, I have to share the bad with the good right?

Very stressful day at work today...one of the most stressful in my entire career. Not an understatement. No time to exercise so far, may get out with the dog tonite, but may just need to unwind...which I always SAY I am going to do, but never do. I have not thus far turned to eating for comfort. Di not eat GREAT today, but not bad either. Turn the page, and on to tomorrow.

SWEETS GOT ME!!
Im not a big sweets guy, and I Im usually (luckily) able to really eat them only as treats. Yesterday, however, I nibbled and munched a lot of the readily available sugary bounty laying around my work place. I don't know why,but it was what it was. Now looking at my food journal I am shown that the calorie count is just not worth it, not for the "fullness benefit" I can only take it as a lesson and a reminder that empty calories just don't get it done. Yesterday was 3 things: 1. one of my highest calorie days in a long time (including "spike days in many cases" 2. One of the few days that I wound up eating more than I burned, and, 3. A day where I never felt full, especially considering the consumption. Ill learn from it. Stuff happens.
Stupid !@#$%^ candy corn!!
