Progress is the name of the day, I have been walking every day and on Monday I decided to time a mile a day on the treadmill. On Monday it was 19.47 but that was from cold including a warm up, definatly room for improvement but feeling ok, Tuesady we went to staglands (out door type animal sanctuary park) no idea of time but I definatly did at least a mile, Wednesday we went blueberry picking at a pyo farm, more that a mile walked more that the tub of berries consumed lol Thursday no walking but a hour at the pool and today on the treadmill I jogged close to 700 meters and did the mile in 17.04 so In under a week I have taken off over 2 1/2 minutes. Feeling pretty good, I am just trying to get a walking buddy for tonight so I can move tomorrow, unfortunatly it's Friday night and summer so everyone is at bbqs or at the pub! #winning with small victories xx

Kia ora e hoa ma!
I'm back after 4 weeks of visitors, family stuff and an amazing 10 day holiday at casa Kauri. I have not weighed in, to be honest I'm a little scared and it's close to TOM, but thats just another excuse. On the bright side of awesome this is the first time in 4 years I am chemical free, I have kicked out the anti depressants, signed up and paid for so now I have to go to wof crossfit boot camp 3 times a week for 6 weeks starting on the 19th, not to mention pre registered for my first event of the year in April (www.PGT.org.nz) this will be my 5th year, so it's go go go!

What a bastard of a weekend, my car was broken into on my driveway, it is off street so brazen bloody theives, I'm just glad I only lost money a few trinkets and a few of my sons toys a lady down the road had her kids car seats taken last month.
Then there was the great Salmon debarcle! No wonder I 'm still a girl of generous proportions, I was thinking healthy thoughts and we had salmon last night I had worked it out so I could have my sunday night cake as well calorie wise only to discover after I had eaten everything that the difference between 180g of smoked salmon and 180g of hot smoked salmon is 400+ fricken calories. I have been eating hot smoked salmon for 6 bloody weeks, in the words of Ian Dury arseholes bastards expetives and pricks.

I fell off the radar for a few days, I had some feelings to eat but I must say it was with more restrain that I would of done just a few month ago, I was looking at those Giant Lindt balls, 550g of pure poisonious delight but decided it wouldn't help so walked away, nothing lost but nothing gained. I'm out foe most of the day today so had a huge breakfast of oats and will pack some good snacks, it has been a while since I have had oats lets see if they do all the things I remember them doing! I ate it I own it, it is just so discouraging when 5 days of doing very well can be undone by 1 day of foolishness. Sore core, sore legs, sore shoulders, well on the bright side I am still training 5 days a week and I may have just about figured out how to drive my new phone horay, I can't spent another session in the gym listening to that slow beat nonsence, I'm trying to exercise not sleep. Ka haere koutou ki o moemoea = Go travel all of you towards your goals. #winning with small victories
