If I really feel like I need to have potato chips, perhaps for a special occasion or a special picnic, then I'd rather have a recipe to fix my own instead of buying a bag of commercial chips. Thank you.

i don't think so! what part of "diet" is unclear?

It says it yields four servings. So roughly 1/2 of a potato. However, I agree that even on the 2500 calorie diet I am on this doesn't seem to be very healthy with 49% fat.

Honestly I'm allowed 100 calories for each snack so this one wouldn't work for me at all. This would take up my budget for allowed meal calories. But let me add I would make this for my child he loves chips and would rather have him eat a healthy serving instead of what is on shelves at the store.

I think you guys are a bit harsh!! I love potato chips && I believe that cooking them yourself instead of eating a huge bag is better!

I would prefer Taro chips. Could dehydrate them, bake them or even fry them in coconut oil.

I MIGHT consider this if it was jicama...but potatoes...on Atkins induction or OWL...no way!!
...just like everyone else said. I'll pass too!
