These crowd-pleasers are baked, not fried, so you don't have to feel guilty about enjoying them.
Ingredients
Directions
- In a small bowl, combine the cream cheese, garlic salt and Worcestershire sauce until smooth.
- Stir in crab and onion.
- Place 2 teaspoonfuls in the center of each wonton wrapper.
- Moisten edges with water; bring corners to center over filling and press edges together to seal.
- Place on a baking sheet coated with non-stick cooking spray.
- Lightly spray wontons with nonstick cooking spray.
- Bake at 425 °F (210 °C) for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm.
- Note: when you bite into these golden appetizers you'll find a creamy crab filling that rivals restaurant fare.

The won ton wrappers were not crisp at all, they were very hard and rubbery.
The filling was good. I may just use that as a dip with some pita chips.

I haven't tried this, because I developed a shell fish allergy a few years back....but I used to love crab rangoon....I know you can't duplicate the taste, but what could you use instead of crab for someone like me???? I wonder what Salmon would be like??? Or chicken??

These were awesome. I have been craving Chinese but wouldn't let myself eat them and was so excited when I found this recipe. I changed a few of the ingredients to low fat and low sodium so they weren't as many calories but they were still amazing.

Not Atkins friendly at all! Shouldn't come up when you search for low carb recipes, but then, 90% of the recipes that come up when you search low carb are NOT!
