I have the same. Still hungry after fruit. Don't know specifically about winter cravings but maybe some warm milk with cocoa if you are craving sweets and a lower calorie soup if you are craving salty? I used to drink coffee with milk and cocoa powder to help with hunger. Might seem a bit weird but it helped.

Sounds pretty good to me. I have eaten an apple and 10 almonds so far, had a tea and brushed my teeth and am organising my food journal as we speak

Soup is good in Winter, if you are really hungry try egg soup: chicken stock with a beaten egg stirred gently into it as it simmers. I like protein as a hunger stopper.

Those ideas sound awesome, lately I've been hooked on greek yogurt with goji berries, honey and raw almonds =P

Cravings.... When do you get them? In the evening or through the day?

Personally I would stay well away from the yoghurt or any other sweet stuff. For me anyway, just leads to more cravings... What I have found helpful is healthy muesli (vs sugar loaded cereals), just a handful or so, you can add berries, nuts if you like, not too many. Weight watchers fruit and jelly, eat as much as you like. Protein shake (redoubtable brand, low carb low fat version), get yourself a blender. Have 1 shake for lunch or before you train, add handful of frozen mixed berries, ice, protein powder (vanilla is good with berries); that will aid metabolism, add protein, which is awesome, low or no fat; fills you up massively. I have this in approx 400mls water, so is a lot to drink in one smoothie...... And that's the trick, it fills you up, you don't need to eat for hours. I recommend Horleys from New Zealand. That is a reputable brand with high quality ingredients. You can get it quite cost effectively on line delivered to your door. If you want the details let me know. Stay off the sweet stuff. Get rid of anything like that from your cupboards!!! :) :) sorry am I lecturing :) :) don't mean to.... Cheers. Ian

Wow that is really helpful thank you Ian =). I absolutely love no fat greek yogurt haha but I limit it to about 1/4 cup a day through tablespoons as dressings or substitute for milk in oats.My cravings can hit after dinner, due to sleep deprivation or in the afternoon when I have been active after the gym.
