Sleep has been plentiful. Though I've woken up later than usual the last few days due to some later work schedules. It has somewhat thrown me off 😅 I actually thought it was Friday yesterday. I woke up at 8:20am and was rushing to get the kids ready for school 🤣
With that, I also failed to meet my kCal. That ALSO slipped my mind. So yesterday I missed my target by 478kCal, BUT I wasn't feeling hungry 🤔
I always forget to mention that I've started taking cold showers. Started about 5 days ago. It's gotten easier and easier. At first I was hyping myself up to jump in. Now I'm walking in. Great for recovery and I heard it has something to do with protein synthesis. Not sure if it's true, but you never know until you try. Too much he say, she say. Do it for yourself and then make an opinion.
Heading into week 4, I'm cutting my cardio time by 50% but increasing intensity by 33% and adding in abs everyday. I'm starting to see the abs and the muscles before the obliques. Those love handles always come off last hahaha.

😆😆😆 I couldn't do the rest day today. I continued onward with my Push Workout including 2 missed ab exercises from yesterday (I didn't copy over the routine from last week correctly). It was a great workout though. Felt distraught this morning. Some old bread crumbs came up and got me pretty emotional. Gym was a therapy today. And I really pushed through max rep ranges.
Eats was good yesterday. Slightly over but my hunger was in check. Been missing out on veggies for a few days so it was good to get it in yesterday.
Fridays are usually our Family Nights, so this means we may be having something out of the regular meals. I love earning this meals throughout the week though I'm not yearning for it, it's another way for me to let loose from the rigidity of my carefully planned days.

Oh mannnnnn! Following yesterday's awesome workout, I felt like my body's energy depleting and that carried throughout the day into work. A little bit of an off day. Came slightly under kCal. I entered imaginary food I thought I was going to eat and misentered my intake. I only found out later in the day when I started getting hungry and wondered how I ate so many calories already but still be hungry 😳
For today....today's workout was Lower Body and oh mannnnnnnn! It was a real grind. I almost gave up so many times not because I was tired, but my motivation was gone. In the end, Discipline carried me through and I exceeded more in reps and weight progression than my body wanted to do. It was a real mental game today.
I think tomorrow I will take an active rest day and today, today i will eat some super awesome food 😁 pasta tonight! ❤️❤️❤️

Hehehe slightly over target kCal last night. Didn't wake up hungry but I woke up a little later than my usual 4am. Got to the gym around 6am today, not much of a crowd. Today was Upper Body day. I felt amazingly strong today. My food choices haven't changed that much, so it might be the progression in my routine. I progressed in weight and reps today - for the most part hitting all max rep ranges. I FEEL I could have gone further with some workouts but I believe in CALCULATED RISK. I'll hit it on my next session to continie progression.
I added pasta as a snack in my meal plan yesyerday. I love pasta 😁 Hopefully it doesn't take me off course.

We're taking shape now! Love it! Yesterday, was very slightly over the 3000kCal plan. Feels right so far. Wasn't hungry for the day. Pasta days are much easier since I load on the pasta to compensate the remainder of my macros.
I've been going into the gym at 5am everyday so far. I did 1 9am workout. I like the 5am crowd. Different environment and I have more time in the day to myself and the family. Cardio has been awesome as well as hanging exercises. Extremely happy with how that's going so far. Increasing intensity to keep progression.
