I've been swimming in the ocean lately and loving it. Not sure why the weight is lingering. I've been limiting calories under 2k. I think I need to jump start weight loss with a day of fasting. I will start today with a partial fast then all day tomorrow.

Had 3 slices of Pizza which is not the best for me. Will stick to healthier faire today and light lunch of a smoothie.

I drank a lot more water yesterday and that seemed to help with cravings and I actually lost 2 pounds this morning. Now that summer is here, I'm hoping my regular sleep patterns will return and everything will get back to healthy as my "normal" was anything but.

Today is my B-day and I get to be with my daughter which is the best gift any man could ask for. This weekend I'm going to try some extended walks of 2+ miles to see how the right hip is holding up since I started rehab and maybe a bike ride to the pier in Oceanside. My summer is about to start and my goal is to get down to 190 by July 4th and do it in a healthy way that is maintainable. My enemy is sugar but they say you should love your enemies, especially on your birthday ;op <><
