I've been feeling so run down lately. I want a cookie or something SO bad but I'm not going to. I've lost 8lbs and I'll be damned if I gain it all back.

So I'm at work today and this guy hands me a huge bowl of ice cream with chocolate syrup all over it. It was the most temptation I've had since I started this road - but I gave it to the switchboard operator within 1 minute of having it in my hand. SO difficult. Not 10 minutes later another coworker puts a tray of mini-cupcakes on my desk and tells me to make sure they don't go to waste. KIDDING ME??? What are they trying to do to me? Well I'm not going to let it get the best of me. I walked around our workplace with the tray until all the cupcakes were gone, then I went back to my desk and ate 20 raw almonds (no salt). It's tough, but after 7lbs of success I can't give up now.

Out of everything I've changed about my lifestyle in the past two weeks, I miss alcohol the most. Sad to say but on a hot summer day there is nothing like putting my feet up with a nice cold beer.
