Not really time to make a full entry, but
school has started again
i have been lifting 3 days a week
doing rugby
today I will be seeing what the schedule for rowing is to see if I can do that
I've been doing any active things I can, for instance on sunday I went bouldering with the outing club, spent all day hiking around and climbing rocks... made me realize how much work my upper body needs
dieting
TINY PORTIONS
NOTHING BUT WATER
not even alcohol.
No snacks, etc
Always opt for "better" choices like chicken over beef, etc etc etc.
always substitute veggies for a carb laden side dish (ie broccoli over potatoes)
wish me luck, just got done with 1/2 hour of rowing and some jogging, going to a 2 hour rugby practice pretty soon (even though yesterday rugby was 2.5 hours)

I guess I should fess up about where I've been.
I totally, completely fell off the wagon, so to speak. It started when my routine was disrupted, continued when family obligations and a car repair kept me from the gym, and multiplied upon itself when my habit of cooking healthy dinners gave way to stopgap impromptu meals for every family member. Additionally, I think a bit of pre-school stress is mounting in the back of my head.
Whatever. At this point I find it almost impossible to rewrite a routine because I only have a week until school starts. When school starts I will etch out a routine ASAP and then I should surface on here again with some weigh ins.
I'm disappointed with myself

hit my goal!!!!!!!!!!! Next weigh in: Monday August 20. Target weight: 209.5
This is the only way I can do this - focus on the little hills and forget about the mountain. I have completely forgotten my major goal and all I am thinking about right now is hitting 209.5.

Ugh...
One of the things I find most difficult is finding a happy medium between "on" and "off." I realize I should have absolutely zero off days, but I got tripped up this weekend. One little thing happens, like my girlfriend coming in or I miss going to the gym, and suddenly next I'm eating a bowl of cereal for breakfast (fiber one, not lucky charms, but still a lot of carbs) and by the end of the day I'm eating pizza and chocolate. It seems like once I trip up I just go out of control.
Oh well, this is something I'm really going to work on
