I was out of town this weekend and did ok with food, but didn't follow the diet as well as I should have. Too many carbs (bagels, beer, a few small sugary treats... these 3 things get me into trouble). Traveling and holiday stuff is difficult for me, like many others have said alredy. :)
Had a much better day today, ate fairly well (except a beer at dinner-- gotta stop that!) and had a good workout at the gym. It's the first time I've gone to the gym in about a week, which is not so good, but at least I got there tonight. Had about an hour-long cardio workout including the warm up/cool down time. Also walked to work yesterday and today, as usual. It was freezing here yesterday (in the teens or twenties, I guess) and I wasn't so psyched about walking, but once I got going it wasn't bad. Thank goodness for ipods. :)
I plan to have a good week for food and exercise in hopes to make some progress for my red ropin rider pals. And for myself, of course. I'm sure next week will be full of temptations, so this week I'll have to be extra good about the diet!
