Hit 97 here in the Piney Woods today, too, factor in the humidity and it felt like 110. I hope the part gets there quick!

Are you sure you didn't break a mirror or cross paths with a black cat? Redgirl it will all pass, except for the heat. Have a great diet day!

A bad run of luck can make you want to eat a bunch of crap. I feel you. Just do what you can when you can. Then get back on track. You got this!

I'd heard on the news that Texas was suffering from a heat wave. I left there yesterday after visiting friends and family. Stay cool.

Our A/C went out during 102* heat wave a couple weeks ago - sheer misery! Heat makes me swell up, retain water weight and feel sluggish and we don't have humidity like you do.

if you have a slow cooker, that could help prep meals without a lot of heat. Hang in there...

Yeah we had mid 90s for days and don't have ac. Work hasn't been a picnic either. I did all that meal prep last Sunday but when it came time to eat it in was just too tired and hot. So I'm doing simpler smaller meals for a while. I'll make the best choices I can but it won't be as clean as I'd like.

Lost A/C also a couple of weeks ago also. Repairman wants to change out both inside and outside units. That is not an option at this time so we bought 2 large window units. It keeps us comfortable for now. The humidity is really high in Mississippi this year, or maybe I'm just getting older and complaining more.

Uggg... broken A/C in this weather sucks, but hey...at least sweating is healthy...lol (I always try to find the silver lining). Hang in there, buddy!
