Happy Friday FS friends

A lovely cool morning here by the river. Will be going out shortly to clean out the firepit in preparation for the guests coming in 4 days.

Planning activities, the boys (John, his brother and son) will go fishing on the river, the girls, their mom and I will head to Clifton Hill to partake of the tourist trap things. Have wanted to do that since moving here, and only now is it possible due to increased mobility and less fat luggage to haul around. A few things that I'd like to do is see the tunnel under the falls, go to the butterfly conservatory, see the power station and ride the Skywheel. We'll see what they're into. If none of that, we can always head to one of the local beaches or Safari Niagara.

On the food front, am eating leftovers as the room in the fridge is needed. Still sticking to plan and getting pretty excited about one-derland being in sight. Am hoping to get there by mid September. For me a massive milestone as haven't seen a "1" on the scale in decades.

Still have at least a year or more to go to get to goal, but I believe this to be achievable. Am thankful that my dietician, endocrinologist and GP are following me every step of the way and holding me accountable.

For any of you on the fence about buckling down and sticking to a plan to shed excess weight, it is so worth doing. There is no question that starting Ozempic has helped in this phase of the journey as the food noise beast is silent, cravings for spearmint gummies is gone, thus helping me continue to make good intake choices.

I'm not even close to goal yet, but the changes physically, mentally and emotionally already are enormous. The quality of my life has vastly improved. I would wish the same for all of you out there.
