Happy Saturday FS friends

Thank you so much for the lovely heartfelt comments regarding my mom's journal. It has caused me to be reflective of my undesirable actions/behaviours past and is giving me a guideline as to what to avoid in this last 1/3 of my life. Seeing my life as reflected through my mom's eyes was an eye opener to say the least. Achieving balance is my goal.

On the food front, where I've historically been an emotional eater, these past couple of days have resulted in emotional non-eating. Neither state is optimal, but given my druthers I'd rather not turn to food for comfort. It hasn't served me well in the past and has solved nothing.

Went on the maiden voyage of the new/old boat yesterday. It was a pleasant jaunt, but also was quite late in the day so I didn't learn much about navigation and piloting. The weather is not cooperating today with rain, thunder and lightning so the next adventure out on the water will be tomorrow.

Tonight is the final concert at Safari Niagara. 3 cover bands. Should be fun if the weather decides to cooperate. Might end up being a repeat of last months concert though...we'll see. Quite looking forward to it.
