New Years is here and I'm three weeks away from vacation... Yeah!!! It's 4 weeks this year as my husband and I will be celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. Time flies. My "baby" moved out this week into her own place, closer to her med classes. I'll miss her. She's the noisy one and I'll miss her "in your face" presence. My older kid is still at home while he continues with his university education. He lives close enough that he can walk.
Times change. So does our body shape. LOL!! So it's now Time to get back on the program. I haven't lost any weight...if anything, I've gained some, so with the encouragement of my husband (the athlete), its time to drop the carbs and get back on the treadmill and do some strength training. I don't know why this is so hard for me to maintain. That's where I really appreciate the support from all you people in FS land. This year I hope to improve my body shape. I prefer a thin waist to a chubby one. The "thin" clothes are so much nicer.
Anyway, I've been on the treadmill 2 days in a row now which is a good start prior to my southern vacation. It's sort of like cramming for exams, I'm afraid, but it's better than nothing at all.
