Pretty good day again in terms of food and exercise. I was wiped out last night after my big exercise day (big for me these days, anyway). I went to bed early, which I think my body really needed. Today I have been a little stiff and sore, but not in a bad way. So, I had my exercise be just walking and some moderate weight training.
The most fun at our house these days is dancing wildly to funky music after dinner. Usually this happens at the request of our four year old. She is a big fan of Sir Mix-a-lot (her Daddy introduced her to that one), the song "bust a move" (I forget who this is by), Sly and the Family Stone's "thank you for lettin me be myself," and the song "Flashlight" by Funkadelic. She will yell out "Hey, Mommy! Daddy! It's time to Funk! Come on out here and dance, let's do funky dancing all night long!" in pure glee. How can we resist? Often she and her big sister will don wacky hats, scarves, and anything else they can find to dress up silly and dance around wildly. I'm sure our neighbors think we are nuts. But, we have a good time. :)
