Good Morning Everyone
I hope all of you are having a great morning and had a great week... I was so nervous to get on the scale yesterday because my eating was'nt so great this week.. and its that time of the month. I missed one day of walking.. and still a 2 pound lose!!!!!
I did hit the gym this week, for 45 minutes, a quick 5 minute warm up on the eliptical then 3 sets of lat pull downs, and the seated row from one to another with no rest in between, then I did the hip abductor and the other one in opposite direction, and the leg press,, again with no rest in between, a body building friend of my husbands told me to do that so I can tone up quickly,, also I did about 3 minutes of planks,, and yesterday I did 10 push ups.. that makes me really happy I could'nt even do 2 of them a few months back.. I just read doing 3 sets of as many as you can daily for one month will tone you in your arms, abs, and thighs.. I am planning to start them this morning and everyday before my walk.. I am also adding some jogging and a little sprinting.. it makes me feel GREAT!!! I did walk the other day with 3 pound dumb bells, which was good, except I had no way to carry my water bottle,, I was way to dry!!! any suggestions on how to do both??????
Also to let everyone know that I am NOT on a DIET!!!! I eat what I want and don't deprive myself, I am just making better choices, and rarely eat any GARBAGE!!!! and NEVER eat after dinner... I do like my charaz, 1 or 2 glasses throughout the week,, thats my dessert. some weeks I have none..I do think that maybe I should be eating more, but afarid to change my eating habits now that I found a way that FINALLY WORKS FOR ME!!!!! I did stop going back for seconds at dinner, and now only take small portions, and 1 piece of meat... and I do STOP as soon as I feel satisfied...
Don't get me wrong because I love picky apps... like cheese and crackers and chips with hummus and all that good kinda of stuff, I am not perfect, and I do eat it on occassion and more than I should, I try not to regret it, just walk an extra mile the next day.. I had a trainer over 2 years ago, that told me you can always have a bad day or 2 just never let your bad days out weigh your good days!!!! FYI with that trainer I did loose 22 pounds, and gained it all back and then some,,, I am thinner,,, yes THINNER (I like that word) now on my own then when I was working with her... I did love her and she was great,, and I would hire her again if she still lived here,,, I know she would be proud of me...
On the last note, I clean houses,,, and a house that I have'nt seen and a while just told me this week, I looked AWESOME!!!! a neighbor asked me if I had lap band surgery????? I was insulted,but, my daughter told me to take it as a compliment, because I am SEXY and she is Jealous.... My husband told me last night I really look GOOD!!!! My small goal is to weigh 163 by september 13th. that will be our yearly pig roast. and we have about 100 people...and the last time I weighed that I was 8 weeks pregnant with my yougest son, who is now 16 years old!!!! WOW!!! its been a long rollar coaster of fad diets, all kind of pills, trainers, and gyms, and treadmills bought from yard sales,, that wind up becoming a cluttered clothes rack... HUH??????? how what is the difference NOW????? that I feel like its just falling off?????
OK sorry to bore you.... I am going for my walk now, and of course push ups... Have a GREAT DAY!!!! and SMILE!!!!! because ONLY YOU COUNT for YOU!!!!!
