Went hiking today with the bear and the pup (husband and dog). I had been wanting to do this for a while now, since the last time we went hiking on this particular trail was almost a year ago and I was 25 lbs heavier. This time it took about 2 hours to hike, compared to 3.5 hrs last time, with a lot of resting in between. It was a whole lot hotter this time around too. We didn't start feeling tired till we were almost done, and towards the end there is a big hill we decided to climb. Last time I had to stop about 3 times, this time only once and it was my first break the entire walk. I'm happy about the progress, glad I am feeling more limber and able to do something that was tedious and made me want to give up last year. Had some really really good hot wings for lunch from a local bar, and a coors light. They really hit the spot and I feel comfortable, not bursting or anything. Tomorrow is my bears day off, so I am hoping for a fun bike ride.
