There's a park by my house, and I always go there if I feel up for a jog or walk. This morning I used the Nike GPS on my phone to see how long the loop was. Just under 1/2 mile, which is fantastic because for years now I thought it was only 1/4 mile.

yep...lol all this time I thought I was only getting 1 mile in with 4 laps.
