Nice low cal day after a half cheat day yesterday where I decided to shift some of today carbs after a very demanding training yesterday. Today active rest with some walk to the Botanic gardens and a short light circuit training there before coming back. You don't get 26 °C everyday in Edinburgh, so I had to seize the day! And the weight on my way back was even lower than yesterday, not that it matters, as I am focused on lowering the body fat mass, minimum changes in weight don't mean much (it can be water or lean mass going up and down), anyway it's always nice to see smaller numbers :)

Yesterday dinner, linguine with pan fried tuna steak, king prawns, capers and black olives with a hint of tomato sauce.

Thx, not bad at all indeed, even with frozen tuna and frozen prawns (fresh tuna and seafood would be another thing). Good source of proteins and the right amount of carbs with a very low amount of fats (about half tbs of extra virgin olive oil).

@ Donturjawhurt Very much so, training was really challenging and today I feel like if I slept under a truck tyres, but really satisfied with the volume and intensity :) @ James: this is what I mean by finding alternatives to chicken and broccoli :) (pssst, yeah, I admit it: tonight I had 320 gr of chicken breast lol)

Good choice :) Also, even if I come from a place 20km from the seaside I have never cooked much fish in my life, but I must say, fish (and seafood) are great coz they need very short cooking times, differently from the tastiest meat dishes (stew, goulash)... so it's nice, relatively cheap (cheaper if you use frozen fish) and fastgood :)

@ Paul I love seafood, from shrimps to lobsters, from clams to scallops including all the intermediate sizes :)

Looks wonderful! The gardens in Edinburgh are lovely ... would be great to see them in this weather. Take care 👍🏻

I make a great paella with prawns and crab claws along with a lot of other stuff

That sounds good too, Paul. I used to eat loads of seafood when I collected it myself on dives in Scotland. Not so much now, sadly ☹️ It’s hard to buy king scallops at £30 a kilo when I used to collect them by the sackful and much better size. There’s not much more satisfying that eating crab or lobster you’ve fought with to get into a goody-bag at 20m either!

I can understand that Phooka Scotland has a wealth of fish, shell fish and even better when you catch it yourself not to mention Whiskey lol, lobster has to be up there with the top foods, I make a burger with lobster meat on the top it’s really tasty but only drawback is it costs about £20 a burger to make so it’s not something you put on the BBQ list when you have everyone round.
