Michelle- ignore the scale for the next month or six weeks, while your body gets used to training, but only if you stick to your WOE as strictly as you have in the recent past. It’s very much like a construction project, and you now have projects going on all over your body. Materials are hauled in and stored in staging areas, debris is created and has to be hauled to landfill or recycling, as well as crews and equipment being mobilized. And because it’s new, it’s somewhat inefficient, which means extra water retained. Just be confident in your WOE.

I totally agree with Tom, You've started a new regiment my little weight lifter! YOU Must!!! keep a healthy and clean woe...remember and it's true for every action there's an opposite and equal reaction, in other words don't negate your gains by rewarding yourself with those bowls of puddings and cakes your so famous for making on a whim etc.that's a big no no know. You can do this, it's your time now lets make it happen.😀

The body's efficient use of fuel usually involves building muscle (adding weight) to burn fat (changing size and THEN reducing weight) - rooting for you!

From371to184- thanks.. I have stayed on the exercise plan so far.. My thighs are hurting, but when I exercised yesterday the pain went away. Until I cooled down then it hurt again. If I don't move they don't hurt, but no option to not move lol
