I know this will get better once I have lost more weight, but right now my 5ft9 height with a long trunk add in fat butt and fat stomach is making some things hard to do. The leg press and ab crunch machines are main ones. The ab crunch machine I messed with yesterday til I felt my muscles engaging where I should have. The leg press, however if I get my shoulders are in my butt touches the metal plate. Wait wait.. I think there's an adjustment thing she showed me on the other side. I will have to look next time I go.

Don't they have a leg press where your butt stays still?
l agree with Tom on a hack squat machine.find the one where you sit down and push with your legs.

Murph- I thought the same thing and looked around and just found another of the same machine, but in a slightly different position. I will have to see if I can adjust the leg room or something

I reduce resistance and increase reps in the weight room to reduce risk of aches and pains.

Nope! She can't do any changes she has a personal trainer who decides!

Icdrpapa- lol nothing hurts like a strain or pull.. Just a little bit here and there... Like today I feel perfectly fine no aches or pains at all.. I have a personal trainer who is helping me and given me the OK to increase as I see fit within a certain range. She increased weights om some because of the number of extra reps I was doing on each set before I was getting muscle fatigue and loosing form. I may be a glutton for pain, but I quite enjoy the ache after.
