I started a new "diet" today. It's called Daniel's Fast. Basically it consists of any fruit/veggie you want, unlevened whole wheat bread (tortillas, pitas, etc.), nuts, dried fruit, water, oils, beans, etc. But, no butters, creams, dairy, meat, etc. So far I feel sooo good being on day #4! My plan is to stay on this until the middle of April and then modify it to include meat 1-3 times per week.
I have to make sure and thank God daily for his provisions...no headache from caffeine withdrawls, no major candy/sugar cravings, and a very supportive husband! Without Him I wouldn't be able to go even 1 day without my sugar addictions taking over.
