Ideal Weight's Journal, 01 Feb 17

As I suspected, I went off the rails today. we had our Superbowl potluck and it was a complete willpower disaster. By the afternoon I had completely gorged myself to the point of literally feeling ill. I wanted to tell my boss I was sick and head home, but I paid for my actions and suffered the afternoon. Anger and frustration. Again. But hope for tomorrow...... I'm supposed to weigh tomorrow morning And I did have more good days than bad. But I'm worried if the scale shows I've undone last week's progress that I'll just have another bad day.

Please tell me you enjoy the food at least X ) You just have to tell yourself its a new day If the scale is up chances are its a lot of water weight those pot lucks are sodium land fills. Plus if the scale is up just own up to it and let it motivate you rather than drag you down. I respond like Ok, I fucked up! and move on its done. I see it more like at least filled my carvings now I should be good for awhile. Just don't dwell on a small factor in the over all it is what you are doing day in and day out that is going to make are break progress. You just need to control it and not let it lead to giving up and just eating whatever. Be relentless and you will be ok. Keep at it

You logged a lot.. I'm not focusing on the numbers but that you stayed honest in what you ate. That's an awesome skill and not one that a lot of us would be able to do. Keep up the hard work! It's the long game that counts because that is the rest of your life vs. tomorrow or even the rest of the week.
