I dunno, the harder I try, the harder I falter. Did an hour of cardio on 5 days last week, but I made up for that by eating a ton of chocolate. Walmart had it on sale, and I couldn't resist.

Your doing great! Look at your situation this way, your cardio did good to your heart, muscles etc. Your saved money by buying chocolate on Sale, and enjoyed and satisfied those "taste buds" buds. Wow! Now that's a winner!

Love the Purringmeow's view of things. We can't beat ourselves up for when we falter. It will happen. Depression only makes us gain. And possibly you put on muscle which weights more then fat. The key is to enjoy the chocolate from time to time and not to punish ourselves for it. When we are feeling low the only thing we want to do is eat and it keeps us from our long term goals. Re-focus. Have 6 great days of no cheats. :) I also read something the other week that keeps bouncing around my head "why would I reward myself with a treat when I haven't achieved my goals". Sometimes treats can sabotage our goals, which will feel so unbelievable compared to how the fleeting moment of satisfying our craving. I have a girlfriend whom was just under 250 lbs and now is 135 lbs of crazy muscle. She beems from ear to ear. I saw her post on FB the other day that she had some chips. She said she hasn't had chips in 5 years. WOW!! Not that's dedication. Best of luck! The mental madness of staying focused is the hardest part but you can do it!! We all can!!
