Grief, sadness and lonliness; that's a tough road. Love those kids! For me, when I was depressed and low (believe it or not) kicking the carbs allowed me to climb out of the hole I was in. I find that weight gain, carb consumption and depression go hand in hand. Going low carb is something you can do for yourself that might help your mental outlook and help you to feel more in control. It is critical for my ongoing recovery.
