Unfortunately it has taken quite a while to get back on the rails, in fact they are actually new rails because the old ones were irreparably damaged whilst I hurtled uncontrollably off them. I think my mistake was to try to maintain a talon like grip, which appears to have been partially effective as it was doing a fine job of of gripping the said rails up until such time as the rail's fasteners exceeded their tensile strength, and the rails promptly tried to disguise themselves as metal pretzels. Aaannyhoo, I'm just bracing myself to have another crack.
