Being riding my new bicycle for a week now and its starting to get easier everytime I go out. Another step on the road towards healthy body and mind.
85.9 kg Lost so far: 12.5 kg.    Still to go: 16.1 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.
Losing 1.3 kg a Week

I have been cycling to work for over a year now, but my first week was HELL. I almost gave up. After my first cycle, I felt sick and terrible, but I took it one day at a time, pushed on, even though all the other cyclists overtook me. But I lost half a stone without even noticing, and now I'm proud to be good at a sport! (it was never my thing at school). The key is to have a purpose - I have to cycle if I want to get to work and back! I give myself no choice to wimp out! :-)

I ride a trainer, occasionally. To start with I found it very hard, to say the least, but now find I can go for longer. I may be able to progress onto a real bike at some point. YYou are way ahead of me, keep up the good work :)

Thanks everyone...its a constant struggle but don't give up....I've had a bad diet week this week so going to hide from the scales and get back on it next week!
