Saw primary care physician this morning; she decided to up my thyroid medication cause there has been no improvement with the dose I’m currently taking; did do bloodwork this morning as well. Can’t take the new dose of medication till labs come back next week. On a better note weight went down 3lbs more in 4 days.

Hang in there with the meds! It took 5 years for my doc to get mine dialed in. Hope that doesn't sound discouraging. I was fine during that time. They ended up putting me on a T3 hormone called liothyronine. 5mcg twice daily 3 days a week, and once daily all other days. My primary care initially had me taking two pills together and it was causing me to feel anxious. I then decided to see an Endocrinologist who told me to take one pill in the a.m. and one in p.m. That's worked like a charm and I've been on that dose for nearly 20 years now. All that to say, they'll get it worked out but it can take a little time in some cases. Also if your PCP isn't figuring it out an Endocrinologist might be a good choice to see. Good luck and hang in there.

Oh, that liothyronine is in addition to my levothyroxine.
