Calories are too high my doctor monitoring my weight loss to make sure it's being done healthy says between 1400 to 1600 calories daily helps weightloss but incorporate more protein as well.

When I started the app it put me at 2000 cal/day. I think it was way too much. I redid everything n it changed to 1700. In 4 months I have never eaten more than 1350/day n most days have trouble making 1000. I'm consistently losing 1-2 lbs a week now, so I think I'm doing well. The longest plateau I have hit is 2 weeks.

I would think your calories are too high unless you are exercising a lot.

plateau only happens for me when my fat is being replaced by muscle. calories are prob set too high. i’m extreme and only eat once a day and it’s usually only 800cals. tons of water, and lots of manual work. i’m losing weight like crazy (and feel amazing!! so it might not work for others but it’s great for me)

Weight loss is also affected by lack of sleep and hormones. I am not sure if you are getting good sleep.

keep protein high and eat less calories. Way less than these apps tell you! I've done 1800-2300 a day and have had the same issues. I just started doing 900-1500 and no lethargy feeling good, down 15ibs so far without going to the gym (I do have a physical job though)

Thx all for your thoughts. I'm going to try to get more water and up the protein as well as lower my RDI to 2000cal and see how that goes.

Up your intake of niacin. When i plateau that long its because my body cannot process cholesterol and fat as efficiently. Niacin (Vitamin B complex) will help your body reduce cholesterol and fats.
