I just returned last night from 10 days in Italy. I got engaged!! It was a really great trip. TONS of walking— 7-11 miles per day. I didn’t eat a lot (I can’t due to bariatric surgery). I stuck to mostly protein, like beef and pork, instead of just pasta. I supplemented meals with protein bars to make sure I got enough protein in, too. I did enjoy some desserts like tiramisu and gelato and sorbet. I lost about 2.5lbs since weighing in before my trip. I did expect to lose more, but it’s still in the right direction.
Update: I FIT ON AN AIRPLANE WITHOUT A SEATBELT EXTENDER!!!!!!!!!!! This was the first trip in about 8-10 years where this was possible!!!!
