Consistency pays off
Have changed the hours I work, which means my days can now be more consistent. The best thing is having a routine for sleep. Before, there would weeks where I would only get 4 hours in a row every 24 hours. My stress levels have decreased as I have finished compulsary study. I find I am more focused at work and energy levels are more consistent. Shift work is hard on the body, I don't miss giving up 24/7 work at all. Eating and meals are now more regular, compared to before where I accommodated daily depending on what shift I was on. If there is one thing I have learnt, it is that the body and mind thrives on consistency.
