I never mention this, but my *actual* highest weight was 393. That’s exactly 100 pounds ago. It was at peak Covid, when the only outing I had was going to the grocery store. I went to donate blood, and the nurse had to take my weight. 393lbs. It was shocking.

In fact, the second phlebotomist reviewing my chart said “oh! They must’ve made a mistake! They wrote 393 in your chart. They probably meant 293. Let me go ask”. I had to sheepishly interject and say “actually, it is 393.”

The phlebotomist was apologetic. She didn’t mean any harm and I knew that. But it’s almost like that number… 393… was so big, that she couldn’t fathom anyone being that large, especially on my 5’3” frame. I never felt THAT big, but looking back at pictures, I was.
133.1 kg Lost so far: 30.2 kg.    Still to go: 33.3 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.
