I’m 34 days post op from gastric sleeve surgery and down 36lbs. That’s averaging over a 1 pound loss per day. It’s astounding. I’m getting much better at meal prepping but still struggling with keeping my fluid intake up. It’s a struggle because I can’t eat and drink at the same time.
I’m focusing on protein with every meal or snack. The brand Real Good Foods Co. has a few good meals that are helpful and very high in protein/low carb. I also got Quest Protein chips that satisfy my need for a snack while also having 19g of protein in 1.1 ounce bag!
I’ve been stuck around 345-380lbs for the past 5-6 years so this is a huge change for me. Being so close to the 200s is a great feeling.
