Well it has been a busy couple of days. I made it through the movies on Friday with my kids without a bit of popcorn but then on saturday my Dad took me to see a movie. This was a father daughter thing and he bought me popcorn so I ate. It was ok though because I ate just a bit and wrote it in my journal. So needless to say I haven't had much progress the last two day but am right back at it today. We also had our Father's Day BBQ yesterday and we made ribs but instead of all the heavy sides we had green salad and fruit salad I think I made some good menu choices that allowed me to eat yummy fatty ribs without all those extra calories that I normally would have in my buttery corn on the cob, sou cream filled baked potato, and so on. I am proud of my decisions and do not regret eating a little bit of extra calories for the special occasion. I still fill motivated and it my diet does not mean the end of my life. If I deprive myself of everything then I will just fail and this will be for nothing but by allowing myself choices I don't feel so restricted and am ready to keep it up. I also took the couple of days off from cardio so I will get back to that and slim down. Good luck to us all, we can do it!
