Congratulations on your progress! I tried to book a DEXA scan recently, but couldn't as we were just going into a lockdown for COVID :(

Hopefully you can do one soon, I've heard they are a great way to check progress, in case you build muscle etc 👍

I would just measure the waistline and go from there. Not sure if you’re doing resistance training as well as cardio?

I do resistance training, more so than cardio. Have been doing physio for a while to try build up muscles and weak spots but not doing to bad. 12 hour shifts means sometimes I don't workout or eat properly though

Ok that’s good man. I do cardio twice a week for 45-50mins (4.5km@5 - 5km@15).
It definitely helped me through my resistance training in terms of more gas in the the tank and I can push it a bit more.
But that’s how l lost most of my fat and 6 pack start appearing provided you’re on target with your in and out calories

When my brother and I are on our off work days we go for walks, between 2kms to 6kms per walk when we feel like it. The dexa scan was just to see where I'm at, and how far I have left. I originally thought I would have been in the mid 20s body fat % wise as was dissapointed being above 30%. I kinda want to build muscle and lose fat so hoping when if I have another one than I can see how well I'm going. Have been noticing the waist line going down though, my belt is going down in holes 👍 :)
Would love a six pack though lol. Have a bad knee from a school injury and the physio pretty much said I have 8 years of neglect muscle wise and won't be an overnight fix but working on it lol

I am sure you will achieve your goals
I did have knee injuries from a fall and 2 motorcycles crash
I suffered knee pains hips shoulders and lower back.
Did a few chiropractor sessions but never helped. Physio said it’s arthritis but I know it’s from injuries and I just need to move more these joints. Dr said to take up resistance training targeting these areas slowly it was so painful cause at times I couldn’t train knee is inflamed or shoulder is. But kept going improve flexibility from everyday stretching 6 months into it the inflammation slowly disappearing and right now I am free of joint pains and since then I maintained this lifestyle to keep my body Mobil by exercising.
