Have been on atkins 6 wks . Lost 8 pounds and im in a stall

Well, looking at your food journal it looks like you are doing well. So here's were it gets tricky. Some people report that to their bodies some foods cause stalls no matter what else you eat. Mine is beer. Even low carb beer. Some of the foods reported are: Cheese, nuts, artificial sweeteners, and Atkins bars/candies. I see you tend to have 2 of those a day. You might try stopping them for a week and see if that helps. Its always a good option to up your fats to shock you body a little. Try coconut oil (tasteless) in your coffee or to fry your food. Make sure you are recording EVERYTING that passes your lips. Including the nibbles, sips, and such. All beverages. You may see something you weren't thinking of. Also, you might want to go back to Induction levels of NC for two weeks to reboot (19-20 NC) And water water water! (I'm bad at that one) Happy Valentine's Day! Hope I helped-not discouraged.

rksoup gave great advice. I should try that myself. I, too, am at about where you are in the Atkins plan; weight was coming off sweetly and then BAM. Good luck with this thing; our bodies are weird things. We just have to figure it out.

Okay I will cut out the atkins bars ...I have a huge sweet tooth..and I was eating those to satisfy my sweet tooth. I do drink at least 8 glasses of h2o a day ...kinda freaks me out when I see all the fat intake for the day..thanks for the support your both awesome...

Yes, the fat numbers kinda freak you out at first. Maybe take it off your food log by changing it to sodium or something. You can personalize your food log. You could try some of the sweets recipes here to have on hand. Fat Bombs are awesome (even though their name sucks). I've seen a lemon/coconut oil treat somewhere. Also 90% Dark Chocolate may not be on Induction but if you are REALLY craving-it might help. I put Torani Sugar Free Chocolate Syrup in my coffee-but we're talking again about artificial sweeteners.

about sweets: pretty hard to get off them but it's really important to cut as much out as possible, I used honey, water and lemon to help me wean off sweets, I'm no longer a sugar junkie and much, much better off for it
