So happy to have lost a little bit more and I'm still feeling motivated. I really am thinking before I eat and listening to what my body needs. I think I have spent years trying to 'keep to the rules' and this has contributed to my weight gain.
You must have a good breakfast, it sets you up for the day! I've never liked breakfast, I'm just not hungry early (I think my stomach likes a lie in 😅). So I now have a healthy, enjoyable brunch which is probably a bit larger than breakfast would have been but not as big as breakfast and lunch combined.
Three meals a day at set times, it's good to have a routine! I have brunch around midday and my main meal in the evening and then a couple of squares of gorgeous dark chocolate as a treat later on and as I don't feel hungry or deprived that's obviously all I need.
Clear your plate, you mustn't waste food! Etc. etc. If I'm full I'm full, I don't need a clean plate to prove I enjoyed my meal. I also have two dogs and a cat who rather like me to have left a little, obviously just for them.
I wonder why it's taken me so long to realise this, I must be a very slow learner 😅 I just hope it continues I'm so much happier with my more relaxed and in tune attitude to food and life in general
