Dismal 🙈
But I think understandable in the circumstances. Doctors suspected Hubby had COVID and the little one was also running a fever. Anxiety through the roof and routine totally shot the last two days, but thankfully the test came back negative and the little one is fever-free. Dusting off and back into more mindful eating.

@ Sheawyn - Sorry to hear that you had to go through all that stress. I'm glad they're both fine though🤗. That 400 g is justifiable and nothing to be concerned about. You'll quickly get rid of it Xx

stress can make the body retain water - raised cortisol levels I think. flush your body by drinking a bit more water and that helps reduce inflammation and water retention in the system from stress (personal experience)

@Shereen Donede, thanks, I’ll keep that in mind, am slowly regaining balance.
@Liela1993, thanks again for the encouragement; I think my frustration was less the size of gain and more that I’d just rededicated myself to my healthy journey and almost immediately derailed again, but I suppose that’s life. It’s not the knocks you face but how you deal with them that’s important.

@Sheawyn - You're absolutely right. We all wonder off once in a while due to numerous reasons; whether it be stress, emotional eating, cravings, boredom etc. The most important part is to just pick yourself up again and move forward. A little slip can easily be recovered Xx

Hi Sheawyn,
Under the circumstances, you’ve done well, just don’t loose the motivation. The road to success can be extremely difficult. Stay positive
