I stopped eating at 8:45ish last night and only drank tea before bed. I’m down again! I will definitely try to be more strict about sticking to eating all my meals and snacks before 9 now. :)
I am trying to break my very strange and unhealthy eating schedule. I would wake up at like 8:30am and not eat a thing until probably 3 or 4pm, then eat and snack basically until midnight (up to 1150cals). I was sort of unintentionally intermittent fasting at the wrong time lol. Maybe I should try to mix my limited caloric intake with proper intermittent fasting? Has anyone tried this or have any luck with combining the 2 diet styles?

This is what I do. I eat my first meal anytime after 1pm. Usually between 2-3. Sometimes I snack between then and dinner. Dinner is between 530-7. Usually closer to 6. I eat whatever I want for dinner. My husband is trying to lose weight to so it makes dinner easy. We always have a salad and then usually some kind of meat, chicken or fish. If we are having burgers I enjoy it guilt free because I keep my before dinner calories fairly low most days. Tonight we are having pasta with our homemade pesto and veggies. I make less now as we don’t eat as much as we used to. Intermittent fasting works well for me because I love to eat. After the first week any morning hunger pains were gone. I am rarely hungry at all. We always have bacon and eggs Saturday morning so that is my cheat day.

@mgooch that seems like a healthy diet! I live alone so it can be tricky cooking for myself and wondering if I will eat the leftovers. And when I’m with a partner we always tend to get takeout and/or snack a bunch while watching a movie / tv show. I have been trying and will continue making more of an effort to cook my meals so they’ll be healthier!
