well..not surprised really at the gain but I am back on Induction and I know it will come right back off. This week has been strange..been really busy and for some reason have been really craving donuts! I did give in a few times at work so it is what it is. This is also TOM week so maybe that is the reason for the craving. I am not or have ever been a huge donut fan so not sure what that was all about. Hopefully it's out of my system now! I still am loving Atkins! I love how I am not hungry all the time and even when I am hungry I get full faster on the proper foods.
New goal: to have lost a total of 25 pounds by my birthday, Dec 9th. I have 10 lbs to go, and I think that is do-able. Then, my next goal will be to be at goal (170) by July 2011, which will be one year since starting Atkins. I need to measure though as I have not done that in over a month....I will do that tomorrow morning and record that for next week.
99.2 kg Lost so far: 3.7 kg.    Still to go: 22.1 kg.    Diet followed: Poorly.

Sometimes a sugar craving comes from adding back carbs too quickly in OWL and in the wrong order. In OWL, there's a reason behind what groups of food are added back in and the order in which you add them. Adding a whole bunch of "new" foods from several groups and increasing your net carbs too quickly in OWL can definitely wreak havoc on your system. Adding foods slowly, one food at a time can be tedious but will highlight when there's one in there that might trigger that sugar craving. Another possibility is that there's too much sugar in one of the foods either naturally, like fruit, or added to the product, like having added sugar in some types of bacon and deli meats. You'd be surprised where manufacturers hide extra sugar!! Strictly following Induction should get you back to where you want to be. You can do this!
