So after my first day on Phase 2, I gained a pound. Not too upset, I know this might take my body a few days to adjust, hopefully! One thing I am going to do, is stop eating almonds. I usually have just one serving a day, it helps my crave for something "snacky"...but I wonder if maybe it's hindering my progress. I had a few strawberries at breakfast, it was nice to have that sweet berry.
I am going to weigh in every day again for a few weeks just to see how this phase is going. Any suggestions?

I think you'll like OWL much better. Just go easy and slow so that if you have a problem type of food, you'll know what it is. If you change too many things at one time and then develop a problem, you won't know what triggered it (i.e. added too many carbs, added fruits and berries, added dairy, etc.).

Nuts are great, I'm not sure how atkins works, and its true what sandy701 says, try one new food at a time and see if that affects you, give it up, then try it again (I suppose its like product research, college course subject ha ha) also I read yrs ago that if you give up a food completly, that means checking out all ingredients of other foods making sure its not included in them as a flavour inhancment etc, and then reintroduce it slowly into your diet you may not have the same problem again. Maybe someone out there on site will or can explain better. You stay focus
