Sooooo, beginning today, I have decided to try IF. During my eating window I will try to stick to mostly low carb but I will also have healthy fruit. I am going to start out at 16:8 and hope to be able to increase fasting time but thought 16:8 might make getting started easier. Drinking black coffee was not easy for me this morning. Years ago when I first started drinking coffee that was the way because I wanted something hot but low calorie. Then I ended up adding flavoring and CoffeeMate French Vanilla (SF) is my most favorite flavor and I think I like it better than the coffee itself. I hope I start liking it black again. Today I have only fasted about 13.5 hours before opening my window. That is because I had not really made up my mind if I was doing this or not until I got up this morning and had my black coffee. The last thing I had last night was a Tablespoon of honey around 11pm because I have a chest cold. My window was to be open from noon today to 8pm. I did not eat anything until 12:30. My window closes at 8pm tonight.
