I followed my diet and exercise so good, and TOM decides to rear his ugly head! AAAHHHH!!!! I'm getting pretty frustrated, it's like I'm gaining and losing the same couple of pounds over and over again. Maybe I need to change up the times I'm eating, or the times I'm working out...today, instead of working out before I headed off to work, I'm going to go to the gym after work. I'm also trying to get away from salty snack. I don't want to sabatoge my efforts with bloat!

It often takes our bodies time to register the work we've been doing, especially with all the hormonal flucuations. Keep on the path and eventually you will see a lower number. Guaranteed!

I agree with evelyn. Maybe go back and read some journals to remind yourself what you were doing when you were losing the weight regularly!

I read somewhere (and my apologies to whomever said it, 'cause I'm pretty sure this is wrong, but the gist is right...) to eat breakfast like a prince, lunch like a peasant (? working class), and dinner like a pauper. I'm sure you know the fewer calories at night the better...I do my working out after work...it helps to beat the stress of the day (nothing like stepping on the head of everyone who ticked me off during the day while walking on the treadmill!) and it keeps my metabolism up for the night and while I sleep. Way to be proactive in finding solutions rather than giving up!
