I feel amazing and I am very proud of myself! Kicking off day #3 of Atkins (Induction). I've been measuring everything, and realized how "off" my guestimations were during my last attempt at Atkins. I boogied my butt in a 1.5 mile walk (20 minutes), even though with a mysterious numb leg it was a little more difficult than it will be in the future. So I sneaked in an early weigh-in this morning and...I'VE LOST 5 POUNDS! I realize that this may be inaccurate this early in the game, but since I've been so diligent with my water intake, measuring, balancing my protein, etc., I feel very confident that Induction will be very rewarding for me! I still plan at this point to keep on Induction for as long as I can in an Extended Induction. Off to eat a couple pieces of bacon and enjoy my morning coffee...and to make it a kick-ass day!
