Just updating after a long time off the site. I got my act together when my ex moved out a little over 6 weeks ago and I've lost over 15 lbs since then. Revenge is a wonderful motivator :)

Starting over.
Life has been hard. Going through a particularly nasty divorce, trying to work out shared parenting, while working 7 day work weeks, and juggling my new boyfriend has been hard. Saying that my life is a mess is a bit of an understatement.
Last night my boyfriend made a comment. He thought he was being funny and felt horrible when he realize how upset I had gotten. He ate a lot of food at dinner last night and I was joking around with him and called him a fat ass. The joke being that there isn't an ounce of fat on him anywhere on his body and yet he eats like there's no tomorrow. And then he says "Have you looked in the mirror lately? The scale doesn't lie honey" Why he thought it would be funny to make fun of my weight when he knows I'm sensitive about it, I don't know. I know he felt awful when I started crying. He apologized over and over and technically I did start it. But you can't take back words once they're spoken, and that hurt. So I'm here. Again. Back in the same place I've been a million times because I'm terrible at following through.
Anyway, going to cut one thing out of my diet at a time on a weekly basis to help ease myself back into healthier food because if I do it all at once this will last about 2 whole days before I start gorging on anything I can get my hands on. Giving up soda this week. That will be the hardest thing for me. I'm a HUGE Pepsi drinker. Hopefully this time I can stick to it.

I'm not proud of the things I ate over the past few weeks, but I'm here now. Life got hard. I'm still lacking some of the motivational fire I had before, but I'm in a better spot mentally than I was so it's time to take another crack at this. Wish me luck!
