i’m not keto but i try to keep my carbs under 150g/day. lately i’ve been craving sweets a lot so i decided to make a keto chocolate cake.
the ingredients were expensive as hell...haha
nonetheless it was fun to bake for the first time in years and got me familiar with almond flour and sugar free sweeteners as i have never used them before!
the cake turned out alright but it was a very heavy treat for sure 😬 in a way, that’s a good thing because although i may want to, i physically cannot have more than one portion of it because of how heavy it sits in my stomach. however, it’s a very yummy for a few bites to tame my sweet tooth!

very glad i got this plate because it keeps me feeling satisfied through the illusion of a full plate and keeps my portions even & under control
protein + mixed greens have been my go-to for dinner as dinner is when i try to have the least amount of carbs

i really enjoyed running today. i usually find it so boring and dreadful but today i ran 25 minutes and felt happy doing it.
i’m trying to get more cardio into my workout routine and ease up on my weight training as i feel that i bulked up too much rather than getting lean and toned. weight training is amazing but i just don’t think it works for my body type and goal so although i’m not stopping it completely, i’m going to cut back on it for awhile.
if anyone else is trying to get into running (and actually enjoy it) i highly recommend checking out the Nike Running Club app! it guides you through a run all through some mellow music and the voice of a coach
